A River Runs Through It

After leaving Fremont Canyon we saw this -- fly fisherman in the North Platte River. David slowed down to take this picture and they waved. LOL. God, I love Wyoming.

Doesn't that water look so inviting?

Fremont Canyon

David and I left the lake area in search of Pathfinder Dam. I knew that it was "beyond" the lake, but not really sure where. We came upon this bridge and looked off to find this incredible canyon. When we got home we discovered that it is called Fremont Canyon. These pictures do not do the depth justice. It was truly spectacular. When we were there, across the river, on the other side of the bridge were some young men. They were relaxing in the shade of the bridge. David thought they might have been bungee jumping off of the bridge, I wonder if they weren't climbing the rocks of the canyon. A quick Google search pulls up several climbing websites that discuss Fremont Canyon.

This is one of those sites that you just have to see to believe.
