These stoplights crack me up. When we were here in October I was just awestruck by these stoplights. You know why they do this, right? Because if not, the whipping wind would rip the poles right out of the ground. There are only two intersections (that I know of) with these types of light poles. In two of the most windiest areas of the city. The wind around here is vicious.
